A Bagdad, Aladin a tout pour être heureux. Il est amoureux de Shallia, une ravissante princesse et vit dans un palais sublime. Cette vie luxueuse mais sans surprise ennuie cet ancien enfant des rues. L'arrivée en ville de Shah Zaman, un dictateur, va le sortir de sa torpeur. Celui-ci veut mettre la main sur Bagdad et épouser Shallia. Expulsé du palais, Aladin demande de l'aide à son génie de la lampe. Or, Shah Zaman a également son propre génie, Balouad. La guerre entre les deux magiciens va être sans merci...
